A brutal attack by Mother Nature has left the Midwest with about a foot of snow and ice. I have been a prisoner in my house for about two days!!! Thankfully I was able to find a Good Samaritan to help tackle the mess. It was not an easy task!!!! Two hours of snow blowing and three bags of salt will allow my car once again to see the light of day!!! The song California Dreaming came to mind as I walked through the crunchy mess. How I long for the feel of soft warm sand on my feet and the sound of the pounding surf!!!!
For now...................I can only dream......California dreamin' On such a winter's day!!!!
