HERE IS A SMALL SELECTION OF THE LOVELY HOMES IN THE BEACH COMMUNITY OF PLAYA DEL REY OR THE BEACH OF THE KINGS!!! I AM LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE FAMILY LIVING IN THIS AREA...SO I WAS ABLE TO PLAY IN AN AREA THAT WAS ONCE HOME TO MANY FILM STARS OF THE PAST AND PRESENT....IT IS SAID THAT FATTY ARBUCKLE STILL ROAMS THE AREA...AFTER LOOKING AT SOME OF THE PHOTOS I AM SURE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY!!!

THIS AREA HAS GONE THROUGH MUCH TRANSITION WITH LAX KNOCKING AT ITS BACK DOOR!!!! MANY HOMES IN THE ARE HAVE BEEN LOST DUE TO AIRPORT EXPANSION...WHAT A TERRIBLE LOSS.

THERE IS CURRENTLY A BOOK WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED ON AMAZON CALLED

Beach Of The King: The Early History of Playa Del Rey, Westchester, Playa Vista, California (Volume 1) (Paperback)~ D J Dukesherer (Author)

IT IS A FASCINATING GLIMPSE INTO THE HISORY OF THIS CHARMING BEACH COMMUNITY....CHECK IT OUT!!!

  1. There are several new books on Playa Del Rey(and Westchester) and the history is just awesome. This writer, Duke Dukesherer, really did a good job;
