While most everyone I know has had their Christmas decorations up since thanksgiving...I am just beginning to think about maybe decorating a little for the Holidays.....I love the idea of Christmas...am first in line to view ornaments and trees when Hobby Lobby sets up their display in September..I even purchase ornaments and have good intentions, but when it comes right down to it......I begin to think.......do I really want to drag those boxes out of the basement up a flight of stairs and wrestle with the cat cat to keep him out of potentially dangerous objects?????
The answer is usually no...but I always feel a little guilty. Yesterday I found myself at Home Depot and spied the cutest 3 and 1/2 foot already lighted and decorated tree for only $35.00.
Wow... no dragging up the boxes up a flight of stairs...no cat scratches!!!! Sold..in my car it went!!!
Well the next dilemma was where do I put this little gem. The living room is the logical place but in my mind I thought how lovely would the tree be in the guest room. I will be having overnight guests..what a lovely surprise for them!!!! Now I am back to the dilemma of dragging boxes up the stairs or maybe go out and find another cute tree already decorated for the living room!!!!
I did however manage to spiff up the dining room chandelier. That was my best 1/2 hour effort. It looks okay and it is out of cat reach!!!! Stay tuned for the more decorating developments!!!!
