Finally able to visit the baby hippo born prematurely at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Cincinnati Ohio.   Fiona was born in January of 2017 and required intensive care.  She survived and is flourishing at the zoo and has admirers visiting her from all over the country!!!  I was fortunate to see her last week on a beautiful spring day!!  Hippos only go outside when the temperature is 50 degrees and above!  Please view the link below to view her incredible journey from a 27 pound premmie to a whopping 670 pound girl!!!!!
